Porta-Fold Truss FRONT & REAR projection
screens are available in three formats (4:3, 3:1,
and 16:9 aspect ratios). Size and portability are
two big benefits of Vutec’s Porta-Fold series.

Porta-Fold Truss (front) projection screen comes
in BriteWhite with a gain of 1.3. Porta-Fold Truss
(rear)
projection screen comes in Rear-Vu with a
gain of 2.5 and Twin-Vu with a front gain of 1.0
and rear gain of .85.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Assembly

Figure a

1. Unfold each truss section and secure all hinge locks. Lay sections on floor

with snap-fasteners facing up. Match color code marks on corners and bolt

sections together with bolts and wing nuts (fig a).

2. Bolt support truss to top and bottom frame truss (fig c).

3. Unfold truss legs and feet. Attach legs to side frame truss at desired

heights by screwing crank bolts into the blue colored fasteners (fig a).

Height can be adjusted in six inch increments.

4. Unfold screen surface and lay over assembled frame. Starting at the

corners, snap the surface onto the screen and continue around the

sides (fig b).(Caution: Keep the protective ground cloth underneath the

surface until the assembled screen is raised upright to prevent the

surface from getting dirty - especially with rear projection surfaces.)

5. With one person supporting each side of the screen, raise the assembled unit

upright and then bolt on the feet to the bottom of the legs with bolts and wing

nuts (fig c) For larger screens, additional support should be provided for the

center while the screen is being raised.

Disassembly

In general, reverse the above order

.

1. Lay the protective ground cloth for the surface on the floor.

Unbolt the feet from the legs. With one person per side to

support the screen, carefully lower to the ground. With larger

screens, additional support should be provided for the center of

the screen while being lowered.

2. Carefully unsnap, remove and repack the surface

(see surface instructions).

3. Unbolt legs from frame, unlock hinges and fold.

4. Unbolt corner sections of frame. Release all hinge

locks on frame truss sections and fold. Return all

pieces to the protection case.
