USER MANUAL – EP-101 EARMUFFS
Application: When worn properly and given adequate care, these earmuffs provides excellent protection filtering high frequency noise emanating from
dynamic machines such as workshop equipment, motor saws, etc.
Requirements: These earmuffs comply with the requirements of the European Directive 89/686/EEC annex II by means of the European Standard
EN352-1:2002 “Hearing protectors — General requirements — Part 1: Ear-Muffs”.
Mark: The appropriate marking can be found on the cups. The CE mark was issued by the notified body: 0501 (CRITT SPORT LOISIRS – Zone du Sanital –
21 rue Albert Einstein – 81600 Chatellerault – France – n° 0501).
Use:
1.
Extend the headband to the maximum and place the cups over the ears with the headband passing over the head.
2. Settle the headband on the head while adjusting the height of the cups until they feel comfortable and the headband rests on top of the head to
support the cups.
3. The ear cushions should fit snugly against the head.
4. Adjust the correct pressure on the head by bending the headband and ensuring an effective noise seal. Put on your earmuffs before exposing
yourself to the noise. Wear them during the whole exposure.
Replacement: In order to keep the product in optimal working condition and to avoid any deterioration of the materials, please replace the whole product
at least every 2–3 years. There are no replaceable parts for this product. Do not attempt to replace any part. This may considerably reduce the
offered protection; and may even destroy its overall structure. For any order necessary, please contact the manufacturer or an Authorized Representative.
Warning:
1.
These earmuffs belong to the “range of small” and “range of large” sizes. The earmuffs conform to EN352-1 belong to the “range of medium size” or
the “range of small size” or the “range of large sizes”. The earmuffs belonging to the “range of medium sizes” are suitable for most people. The
earmuffs belonging to the “range of small/large sizes” are designed to suit the people who earmuffs belonging to the “range of medium sizes” are not
suitable.
2. The earmuffs should be checked before each use. Do not use the earmuffs if there is any sign of damage. Put on your earmuffs before exposing
yourself to the noise. Wear them during the whole exposure. The offered protection will considerably diminish in case the recommendations in this
manual are not observed.
3. This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. For more information, contact the manufacturer.
4. Earmuffs, and the ear cups in particular, deteriorate with use and must be examined at regular intervals to detect cracks or leakage. Replace
earmuffs after 2 to 3 years of normal use, or sooner if they show any signs of deterioration.
5. The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic performance of earmuffs.
6. The user shall permanently wear the headband earmuff in noisy environments.
7. If the recommendations given in the instructions are not followed, the protection provided by the product will be significantly reduced.

Weight of the earmuffs: 157 g
Cleaning: Clean with warm soapy water. Do not use organic solvents or alcohol.
Disinfection:
1.
It is required to disinfect the earmuffs every 3 months according to use.
2. Any part of the earmuffs in contact with the wearer shall be disinfected with a product suitable for use on plastics and not known to be harmful to the
wearer.
Material: PC headband, ABS/HIPS cups, and soft PVC leather.
Storage:
1.
When not in use, it is recommended to store the earmuffs in a clean and dry plastic bag.
2. For models equipped with a PVC leather headband, it is not allowed to store the product at a temperature higher than 45 °C. The environmental-
friendly material used for the PVC leather will deteriorate under excessive temperatures either in transportation or storage over time.

Toepassing: Indien de oorbeschermers correct gedragen en onderhouden worden, bieden ze een uitstekende bescherming tegen industriële machines
zoals ateliertoestellen en zaagmachines, door de hoge frequenties te filteren.
Vereisten: Deze oorbeschermers voldoen aan de veiligheidsnormen van de Europese richtlijn 89/686/EEC annex II door de Europese standaard
EN352-1:2002 “Gehoorbeschermers — Algemene eisen — Deel 1: Gehoorkappen”.
Markering: De gepaste markering is op de schelpen aangebracht. De CE-markering is afgeleverd door de aangemelde instantie: 0501 (CRITT SPORT
LOISIRS – Zone du Sanital – 21 rue Albert Einstein – 81600 Chatellerault – France – n° 0501).
Gebruik:
1.
Spreid de hoofdband maximaal en plaats de schelpen op de oren door de hoofdband over het hoofd te halen.
2. Plaats de hoofdband op het hoofd zodat de kussentjes op de juiste hoogte komen te staan. Zorg ervoor dat de hoofdband tegen het hoofd geplaatst
wordt en de schelpen draagt.
3. De kussentjes moeten de oren volledig afdekken.
4. Span de hoofdband aan zodat de demping verzekerd is. Zet de oorbeschermers op vóór elke blootstelling aan het lawaai. Draag de oorbeschermers
gedurende de gehele blootstelling.
Vervanging: Om het product in optimale conditie te houden en elke slijtage van de materialen te voorkomen, moet u het hele product minstens om de
2–3 jaar vervangen. Er zijn geen vervangbare onderdelen in dit product. Probeer geen enkel onderdeel te vervangen. Dit kan de bescherming tegen
lawaai aanzienlijk verminderen en kan zelfs de algemene structuur van het product wijzigen. Neem indien nodig contact op met de fabrikant of diens
vertegenwoordiger.
Waarschuwing:
1.
Deze oorbeschermers behoren tot de “reeks van kleine” en “reeks van grote” maten. De oorbeschermers, volgens EN352-1, behoren tot de “reeks
van medium maten” of de “reeks van kleine maten” of de “reeks van grote maten”. De oorbeschermers die behoren tot de “reeks van medium
maten” zijn geschikt voor de meeste mensen. De oorbeschermers die behoren tot de “reeks van kleine/groten maten” zijn ontworpen voor diegenen
voor wie de oorbeschermers uit de “reeks van medium maten” niet geschikt zijn.
2. De oorbeschermers moeten voor elk gebruik gecontroleerd worden. Gebruik de oorbeschermers niet als er enig teken van beschadiging is. Zet de
oorbeschermers op vóór elke blootstelling aan het lawaai. Draag de oorbeschermers gedurende de gehele blootstelling. De aangeboden bescherming
vermindert aanzienlijk indien de aanbevelingen in deze handleiding niet worden nageleefd.
3. Dit product kan negatief beïnvloed worden door bepaalde chemische stoffen. Contacteer de fabrikant voor meer informatie.
4. Oorbeschermers, en de schelpen in het bijzonder, slijten met het gebruik. Ze moeten op regelmatige tijdstippen gecontroleerd worden om barstjes of
lekken te ontdekken. Vervang de oorbeschermers na 2 tot 3 jaar bij normaal gebruik, of vroeger, zodra ze enig teken van slijtage of beschadiging
vertonen.
5. Het gebruik van hygiënische beschermingsdoekjes op de schelpen kan de akoestische prestaties van de oorbescherming beïnvloeden.
6. De gebruiker moet de oorbeschermers permanent dragen in luidruchtige omgevingen.
7. De aangeboden bescherming vermindert aanzienlijk indien de aanbevelingen in deze handleiding niet worden nageleefd.
