6. Battery
The keypad comes with the battery already installed.
Low battery detection
The keypad has a low battery detection system. When it detects low

battery, the keypad still has enough energy for about 4 months.
Replacing the battery
1.
Put the control panel in configuration mode to avoid triggering

the tamper alarm (tamper alarm is not active in this mode).

2. Remove both cover plates (for example with a small flathead

screwdriver).
The wall screws are now accessible.

3. Remove both wall screws.

4. Remove the 2 screws at the back of the keypad.

5. Remove the battery.

6. Wait for 5 minutes before inserting a new battery.

7. Insert a new battery (always use the correct battery type: see

Technical specifications). Make sure the polarity is correct.

8. Close the case using the screws.

9. Screw back the keypad to the surface with the mounting screws

10. Close the cover plates.

11. On the control panel, exit configuration mode.

WARNING
 Do not puncture or throw batteries in fire as they might

explode.

 Keep batteries away from children.


Power saving feature
 The keypad only consumes power while used.

 Whenever a key is pressed, the keypad will activate.

 After 5 seconds of key inactivity, the power turns off again and

returns to stand-by mode.

You can set the security code:

 When installing the keypad (see section 8).
