After the HotSync process is
complete, press the ‘Home’ key
located on the silkscreen portion of
your Banks PowerPDA. This will take
you to the main menu.

Press the ‘BanksBrake’ PowerPDA
icon.

Verify that the correct version of
the Banks SpeedBrake software was
installed. There are two locations that
show the current software version.
The Banks SpeedBrake start-up screen
will momentarily display the current
version before proceeding to the
System Monitor screen. The Version
Info screen (click on the ‘Version Info’
button on screen 1 of the System
Menu) will also display the current
software version, as well as various
other system configuration information
(Figure 14).
Note: The highlighted areas display the
PowerPDA, firmware, and Calibration
version information. Compare these
highlighted areas to the ones on the
Banks web site to have the latest
updated software installed.
Check the Banks web site for all the
latest updates.
