DIAMOND PLATE FLOOR MATS
INSTALLATION NORMALLY REQUIRES NO TOOLS
1. Slide front seats as far back as they go.
2. Your custom diamond plate mats come to you flat and it will be necessary to form
By hand to achieve a perfect fit. Your mats are made of high quality aluminum
and will bend very easily. Some mats will have marks on the back that will
indicate where you must bend the mat and whether that the bend should be a hard
bend or a soft bend. You can use the edge of a table to create the hard bend. The
soft bend can be achieved by hand. It may be necessary to place and bend 2 or
more times until you are satisfied with the fit. Some floor mats will be pre-formed
by the factory.
3. Once you are satisfied with the fit remove the carpet attachment tape covering and
insert the mat into position. NOTE: Be sure that the mat creates no restriction of
the gas, clutch or brake pedals. Repeat this same process for all remaining mats.
Most all rear mats require no bending and should fit just right.
