2. Place the insert into the opening. You will notice that the bezel will need to be shaped
in certain areas in order to conform to the basic shape of the opening. The stainless insert
is very thin and will conform to you adjustments. This will take a little time to get them
just right so BE patient. You will notice that the factory fog lights have a plastic frame
surrounding the light and that the new bezels will fit in between the surround and the
opening. When fitting the inserts start by placing them into this small gap. This will
expose just where the inserts will need to be adjusted. Make these adjustments by hand a
little at a time until you have achieved the shape of the opening with out forcing the insert
to conform. A properly shaped insert will look installed (before the liner is removed)
when placed in position after adjustments have been completed. It is important to know
that the process of shaping the bezels in this way will insure that the inserts will stay in
position and also that they will not pop out of shape long term. So the more time you
invest into the shaping of the part the better the installation will be.

3. Once you have achieved a nice contoured fit you can now begin to permanently install
the part by peeling the red release liner from the attachment tape on the back of the
inserts. Smear a little rubbing alcohol directly to the attachment tape. (Doing this will
temporarily remove the aggressive tack of the attachment tape and allow you to place the
bezels in position). Allow the alcohol to evaporate after a few minutes, once the alcohol
has evaporated simply apply pressure to the inserts to set in place.

4. Now that the main parts of the inserts have been installed prepare the outer rim of the
fog light opening by scrubbing it with alcohol then swiping it with the adhesive promoter
tube. You have been supplied with two lengths of chrome trim. Use this trim to cap the
gap between the new inserts and the fog light opening edge. Begin by snipping one end
of the trim so that it will match the start point of the opening. Peel the red release liner
from the back of the trim and set it onto the painted surface in such a way as to cap the
metal. Work you way around the opposite side then snip the end to match the angle of the
opening. Press firmly along the entire length to set. Do not get wet for 24 hrs.

Note: EXTRA CARE must be taken when cleaning your stainless kit. It is a
good idea to lightly dust your kit with a clean soft cloth first in order to
prevent any particles from scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft
cloth) with a good quality streak free glass cleaner.
