be close and the rear legs of the brace are made from mild steel so they can be moved into place by

hand if fitment is off slightly.

Step 6: From the underside of the car, fit the supplied nut and washer to each of the bolts used to fit

the rear legs of the brace. Once the hardware for the rear legs and main bar at the shock towers has

been fitted, you can torque the OEM nuts on the rear shock towers and hardware used for fitting the

rear legs.

Note: The sheet metal area where the rear legs mount may deform slightly and you

should torque the bolts down to the point where the sheet metal starts to deflect.

The

Heavy-Duty 4-Point Rear Shock Tower Brace is designed to fit as well as can possibly be

expected considering the heavy-duty 4-point design. This design will offer a huge performance

advantage over traditional 2-point braces, but that performance comes with a minor compromise.

Although the spare tire and all interior linings will fit back into place and cover the whole assembly,

you must modify the interior compartments to retain the jack and accessories. Fortunately this is

fairly easy on the driver’s side of the car, but more difficult on the passenger’s side. Many aftermarket

stereo systems, more or less, render these compartments and other interior trim useless anyway.

Our engineering and design compromises are with performance in mind first and foremost; with the

fitment of OEM trim secondary.
