Step 5:

Loosen and remove both 15mm engine passenger-side engine mount bolts and keep for reinstallation of the Stiffy ™ bracket
and PowerStick ™ engine mount (See Top Arrows in Figure 3).

Step 6:

Place passenger-side engine Stiffy ™ ETD bracket over the two holes for the 15mm bolts on the passenger-side engine
mount, so that the two corresponding holes on the bracket line up. The bracket should be oriented such that the mounting
hole for the ETD is above the mount surface and where the bracket is furthest away from the engine (Bolt Head > Engine
Mount > Bracket > Washer > Nylock Nut).

Step 7:

Reinstall the two 15mm passenger-side engine mount bolts through the damper bracket and the upper engine mount. Do not
torque these bolts to OE specification yet, adjustments may be needed before final installation (See Top Arrows Figure 3).

Step 8:

Place passenger-side chassis Stiffy ™ ETD bracket over the three holes in the chassis part of the engine mount and align all
three holes. The bracket should have the ETD mounting hole toward the front of the vehicle and above the engine mount (See
Left Side of Figure 2).

Step 9:

Install and tighten both 12mm supplied bolts through the rear most holes in the ETD bracket and the chassis engine mount.
Install with a washer behind the head of the bolt and the nut. Torque to no more than 15 ft/lbs (See Left Two Arrows in Figure
2).

Step 10: Align PowerStick ™ into the chassis passenger-side engine mount and reinstall the corresponding 18mm bolt. Do not torque

bolt down at this point (See Third Arrow from Left in Figure 2).

Step 11: Align PowerStick ™ over the engine passenger-side engine mount and reinstall the corresponding 18mm bolt with supplied

spacer between the PowerStick ™ and engine mount and supplied washer over PowerStick ™ (Bolt Head > Washer >
PowerStick ™ > Spacer > Engine Mount) (See Right Most Arrow in Figure 2).

Step 12: Align Stiffy ™ ETD Heim joints to match the length between the two brackets and the mounting points for the ETD. Adjust

preload and hold onto ETD body with a 27mm box wrench, to loosen or tighten Heim joint locking jam nut use a 15mm box
wrench (See Figure 2 and 4 for reference).

Step 13: Install supplied hardware for the Stiffy ™ ETD through both mounting brackets and ETD Heim joints with the bolt going

through the ETD’s Heim joints before the ETD brackets (See Figure 4).

Notes:

Proper use and fitment of the rubber O-ring helps dampen additional road noise or “feel” that can be transferred through the damper
assembly. The O-ring should be used between the Stiffy ™ heim joint and bracket for optimal noise suppression. Dynamat or other
damping materials, as used in aftermarket audio and in-car electronics industries, can also be used to provide further noise and
vibration damping when used between the brackets and the surface they mount on.
DO NOT attempt to adjust Stiffy ™ from its pre-set stiffness without consulting the Ingalls website. Large open-end wrenches are
required to adjust stiffness (27mm). Most standard and mechanics tool kits do not include these types of wrenches.
