5/32” Allen Wrench
Torque Wrench
5/32” Allen Socket
Lint free rag

REMOVING TRANSMISSION FILTER

INSTALLING FILTER EXTENDER

1.

Using the proper tools, remove the bolts holding on the factory filter.

Be careful when removing because the filter will still have fluid inside.

Disregard factory bolts.

It is recommended to replace the current filter with a new Transmission filter.

Using a lint free rag, wipe the oil off the valve body mounting surface.

2.

Install the O-ring provided in the groove of the 1” Spacer Block.

The kit includes two sets of bolts that will accommodate the four transmissions listed above, you will not use all

bolts supplied.

3.

After determining which length bolts are necessary for your transmission, install the bolts through the provided washers,

through the Transmission Filter, through the 1” Spacer Block and then hand tighten onto the valve body.
(See Diagram #1)

4.

Using a 5/32” Allen Wrench, tighten the bolts.

5.

Torque the bolts to a maximum of 14 inch pounds.

6.

Install transmission pan and fluid.
