PERFORMANCE TESTING
1. Engage parking brake and start your engine. To
insure that the system was installed properly, listen
for abnormal noises. If an air leak is detected, re-
inspect hoses and connections as they may need to
be tightened.
2. S&B FILTERS RECOMMENDS THAT YOU
KEEP YOUR OEM INTAKE SYSTEM IN THE
EVENT IT IS REQURIED IN THE FUTURE.
3. In order to maintain proper warranty, all connec-
tions and components must be checked periodi-
cally for realignment and to tighten all connec-
tions. Failure to do so will void your warranty.
4. Use only S&B cleaning and oil products to service
your filter. Using other company’s oil and
cleaner products may void your warranty.

12. Install heat shield using provided hard-
ware as shown below. 17. Slide hose clamp over saddle bracket.
13. Take out the air temp. sensor from the
OEM stock tube. 18. Attach S&B intake tube to throttle body
and tighten hose clamp.
14. Place grommet in S&B intake tube. 19. Insert intake tube and secure to U-
bracket with hose clamp.
15. Place temp. sensor in S&B intake tube. 20. Attach crank case vent hose to S&B
intake tube.
16. Place connector hose on intake tube
and secure one end with hose clamp. 21. Attach filter and secure with hose
clamp.
22. Connect the electrical connection for
the temp. sensor.
23. Reinstall engine cover.
24. Reconnect battery.
