Installation Instructions

Backpack Kit

Please Read! Please read and understand these instructions completely before installation
to avoid possible injury to yourself, or damage to the accessory or vehicle. Read all
Cautions, Warnings and Notes within installation instructions and on bags. If you are
unsure about securing the bag, please contact us at 1-800-558-7755 ext. 123. Monday
through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST.

1. PARTS LIST:

This product contains the following components. Before beginning installation confirm there are no
missing or damaged components.

2. PREPARATION:

a. All straps should be extended to the fully opened position.

b. Bags should be removed from bike.

3. INSTALLATION:

a. Clip adjustable hooks into D-rings located on top of bag/bags. (Fig. 1)
b. Connect female quick release buckles into male buckle half located on bottom of bag. (Fig. 2)

Note: Male buckle is zipped inside of bag.

c. Adjust the length of straps for the most comfortable fit. (Fig. 3)

4. MAINTENANCE:

Periodically check Backpack Straps. Re-adjust and/or re-tighten as required.

5. CARE AND CLEANING:

Wash using mild household detergent and soft brush to remove dirt or road grime. Rinse thoroughly and dry
before using.

* Backpack straps MUST be removed while motorcycle is in operation.
* Allowing straps to hang loose may cause damage to packs and/or painted finishes. Hanging

straps may become entangled in the wheel or drive chain or belt resulting in serious personal
injury and/or property damage.

This kit will allow the user to be able to easily transport the luggage once it is removed from the motorcycle.
If used with multiple pieces of luggage, be sure and secure together before attaching straps.
