5. If your computer do not already have one, install this software:
a.the Maxon Intermax EM770W modem driver
b.the QTech Maxon Intermax Configuration software

these as required.
6. Configure your Maxon Intermax EM770W modem using the QTech Maxon Intermax Configuration
software. You will need a USB cable to connect your computer to the Maxon Intermax modem. You will
also need to insert a SIM card into the Maxon Intermax modem. Warning: Do not connect the Q03 RTU
with the Maxon Intermax modem while you are doing this step. Configure the:
a.PDP Address =
i.www.vodafone.net.nz (if using Vodafone SIM card)
ii.internet.telecom.co.nz (if using Telecom SIM card)
iii.internet (if using 2degrees SIM card)
b.Destination Server = 210.55.97.178 (IP address where the DATRAN VI base station can be
located on the Internet)
c.Port = 14000 (TCP Port number used by the Cellular Data Channel)
