Fault History

menu, choose

Fault History

. The following dialog displays.

This list is stored
in the drive.

The fault time
displays a list of
faults that have
cumulated since
power was applied
to the drive
The most recent
fault appears at
the top of the list.

Click here to clear
the fault list.

Click Help for a description of the selected fault.

Self-tune is a process where the drive and the motor perform predefined tests to
determine the best running conditions for the system.

To self-tune a drive

1.

Create or open an AVDV Series drive

2.

From the

Device

menu, choose

Online

or click

.

3.

From the

Device

menu, choose

Self-tune.

The Self-tuning dialog box display

(see the next section, Self-tuning the Drive). For DV-300 drives, refer to the
section DV-300 Current Tune.

Self-tune the Drive

The parameter, Main Commands (that determines whether the drive is controlled by
hard wired terminal inputs or digitally), must be set to Digital or the toolbox sends
the following prompt:

Yes

to continue and the

Self-tune

dialog box displays.
