3. ISAS1 and ISATA1 connectors
The ISATA1 connector (AHCI) supports 2 SATA 3Gb/s ports + 2 SATA 6Gb/s
ports. Move the cable from default PSAS2 to ISATA1 to support HDD5 and
HDD6 (6Gb/s), and HDD7 and HDD8 (3Gb/s).
Ths ISAS1 connector (SCU) supports 4 SATA 3Gb/s ports. Move the cable
from default PSAS1 to ISAS1 to support HDD1, HDD2, HDD3, and
HDD4 (3Gb/s).
Ensure that the SGPIO_SEL1 jumper on the backplane is set to pins 2-3. Refer
to 2.7 SATAII/SAS backplane cabling on page 2-19 for the jumper setting
details.
The actual data transfer rate depends on the speed of SAS/SATA hard disks
installed.
