2.5.4 PCI Express x16 slot (x16 link)
The onboard PCI Express x16 slot provides x16 link to the 5500 I/OH. This slot
supports VGA cards and various server class high performance add-on cards.
2.5.5 PCI Express x8 slots (x4 link)
The onboard PCI Express x8 slots provide x4 link to the 5500 I/OH. These slots are
designed for various server class high performance add-on cards like SCSI RAID
card, fiber-channel card, etc.
2.5.6 MIO PCIE slot
The MIO PCIE slot only supports a MIO audio card, which offers great sound
quality to complement the robust video power.
This slot does not support PCI-E x1 cards.
2.5.7 PCI slot
The PCI slot supports cards such as a LAN card, USB card, and other cards that
comply with PCI 2.3 specifications.
2.5.8 PIKE slot (Z8NA-D6 model only)
The PIKE slot allows you to choose and change your preferred SAS solution easily.
Install an optional ASUS PIKE RAID card based on your needs.
The PIKE Interface is for ASUS PIKE RAID card only.
