1 Perform the pre-installation instructions described on page 41.
2 Lay the server on its side (components showing).
3 Remove the HSF air duct assembly to access to the DDR3
Registered/Unbufferred DIMM slots.
4 Remove the DDR3 Registered/Unbufferred DIMM.
(1) Press the holding clips on both sides of the socket outward to
release the DIMM.
