4.2.6 RUN WINDOW’S CONFIGURE MENU FOR TRANSDUCER OPTIONS

The Run window’s Configure menu reveals four sections (figure 4.36). All items require that the user select (highlight) a particular
transducer # on the Run window’s data display first. This will choose which transducer to read to find a particular selected option’s
current value.

Figure 4.36

These submenu sections contains transducer configuration functions that allow the user to change various options (e.g., coefficients,
unit selectors, lock states) stored inside the particular highlighted Level Scout or perform certain maintenance functions on the
transducer. The items in the first section are options available to all the transducers at all times. The second section contains options
only available when a Level Scout is unlocked though the user may generally view (but not change) these while the transducer is
locked. The first option of this section allows the user to unlock or lock the following displayed options of the transducer. This second
section ends with an Update Firmware item. The third section contains only a single function that allows the user to perform a Zero-
adjustment for the pressure data of the highlighted vented Level Scout(s). Absolute Level Scouts should not be zeroed and will ignore
this command. Instead, perform a Field Offset command to adjust the reading of an Absolute Level Scout, for example, to
atmospheric pressure (14.7xxx PSI). The final section contains the AutoLog Test configuration items which have been described in the
previous section.

The Run window’s many Configure options are discussed separately, with examples, on the following pages.
