Motor Cable Grounding Test
Do not connect the pump control cable
incoming voltage before verifying the
pump ground; otherwise, personnel will
be exposed to serious injury or death.
Liquid Level Devices
The pump is not furnished with a means to auto-
matically regulate liquid level. It may be controlled
to perform filling and dewatering by using the float
switch and liquid level control offered as options
(see Figure B−5).
Overheating will occur if the liquid level falls
below the level required to cool the pump
motor (see LIQUID LEVEL in Operation,
Section C).
