1 Introduction

1.1

Scope of the Manual

This instruction manual explains the installation and interconnection of Argus Technologies’ Rear Access Bullet
Breaker Panel.

NOTE: To aid the user with installation, frequent reference is made to foldout drawings located at the rear of the manual.

1.2 Product

Overview

Argus designed this panel for load circuit protection suitable for small to large power applications. Up to 24 plug-in
breakers can be installed in a 23” rack model; 18 in a 19” rack. A dual feed option changes the number of
positions to 2x11 and 2x8 respectively.

Breakers from 5 to 250A per position are available. When installed, breaker access is made via the drop-down
front cover.

A breaker alarm indicator (one per feed) is located on the front cover. See Figure 1 below.

The compact unit installs in 3 RU and all distribution wires are connected at the rear via two-hole termination lugs
for cable or bus bar installation.
