There are various other applications for SMPTE Bars. It has value in VTR testing and in quick checks of
the system phasing thru monitors and Vectorscopes.

SMPTE Bars are also often used for Tape Headers, or sometimes between edit cuts. Also often used for
testing transmission equipment.
Examples of Uncalibrated Displays: The following images indicate a TV with incorrect hue settings.
Adjust the Hue (or Tint) setting so the first bar appears white (or gray).
