If you are in the process of entering a word when the timer finishes this
word will automatically be taken by the computer as a word try without
the need for you to press the ENT key.
When the timer stops the computer will say “Time is up” and check your
word entries to match them against the possible choice of words
available in the dictionary. Your best and longest word will be given a
score and this will be displayed on the screen after the timer stops. As
follows:-

THIS GAME score is the amount of points scored in the game just
completed.
TOTAL score is the number of points scored so far in all the games
played.
Scores are awarded on the basis of one point for each letter in a correct
and valid word. If you succeed with a 9 letter word you get the maximum
score of 18 points.
