When all six numbers are entered then the display shows (for example):

Note: The numbers are shown in descending order from left to right as
soon as the last number is entered.
As soon as the last digit is entered the unit will commence calculating
the sum for the formula, the 3 zeros will spin for a few seconds and then
a 3 digit number will be presented. Once the 3 digit “Target” number is
shown then the display prompts “GET READY . . . ” and says ‘Get
Ready’ out loud, pauses for 3 seconds and says out loud “Go”. At this
point you may start your enteries and the 30 second Countdown
sequence will begin.
You now have to enter a formula, within the 30 seconds allowed, which
will equal the 3 digit numer, or come as close as possible to it.
To enter the formula you use the mathematics keys on the right hand
side of the unit and the selection keys underneath the display. When
you feel you have completed the formula you press the ENT/=(icon) key
to register it.
