N.B.:

In the event that the value of the first harmonic is higher than the limit indicated in the setup parameters (see

FIRST

HARMONIC LIMIT

)

, at the end of eccentricity measurement the following window appears:

The following buttons are enabled:

: Start an eccentricity optimisation procedure (see

ECCENTRICITY OPTIMISATION).

: A box is displayed indicating the offset effect that that eccentricity of the first harmonic measured

may have, at an average speed of 120 Km/h.

: Select the display box of the graph for the eccentricity measured (see

ECCENTRICITY MEASUREMENT

(OPTIONAL)

.

: Return to measurement screen.

5.8.1 - Eccentricity optimisation

This procedure is used to assess the possibility of adequately rotating the tyre on the rim in order to minimise wheel
eccentricity.
Eccentricity optimisation, in general, is advised for values of the first harmonic higher than 1.2 mm.

Follow the simple on-screen instructions. At the end, the following is displayed:

Mark the rim and the tyre in the positions indicated on screen and move the tyre on the rim until the marks coincide.

: Prints the eccentricity values read (option)

: Return to measurement panel.

N.B.: All the eccentricity measurement values can be displayed in INCHES by selecting this option from the

setup parameters (see

ECCENTRICITY UNIT OF MEASURE

).
