5.6 - SPLIT function
(hidden weight)
The SPLIT function is used to position the adhesive weights behind the wheel spokes so that they are not visible. Input
the wheel dimensions and do a spin.
►
Place the wheel in the outside unbalance correction position.
Set one of the top spokes to 12 o’clock.
Press
Indication of fi rst positioning detected
Follow the UP/DOWN indication of the arrows and set the second
top spoke to 12 o’clock position.
Press
Place the fi rst Split unbalance in correction position 1
Correction position 1 (indicator 1)
Correction position 2 (indicator 2)
If the “OPPOSITE POSITION” function is enabled (see the relative para-
graph), the bottom correction position (at 6 o’clock) is indicated by the
central LED coming on for each phase column.
