Gigabit Ethernet port

The Prosilica GT is powered through the 12-pin Hirose Camera I/O port, or the
Gigabit Ethernet port by using any standard Power over Ethernet (PoE) sup-
ported network card, switch, or injector. AVT recommends using Category 6 or
higher compatible cabling for best performance.

Note

Cable lengths up to 100 m are supported.

The 8-pin RJ-45 jack has the pin assignment according to the
Ethernet standard (IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-T).

Note

Prosilica GT cameras support cables with horizontal locking
screw connector for a secured connection (see figure 43).
