Variation of the digestion term
Press key 1 to set the saved alphanumeric character set to the required
number, letter or space.
Press key 2 to move the character shown as _ on the display one place
to the right or back to the starting position.
A maximum of three characters can be entered.
Press key 3 under OK to confirm the changed digestion term.
Variation of the digestion temperature
The digestion temperature is determined by the boiling point of the
substance to be digested.
Press key 1to adjust the digestion temperature in 5 °C increments over
a temperature range of 40 °C to 150 °C or 170 °C.
Press key 3 under OK to confirm the changed temperature.
Note: The standard programs 100, HT and COD cannot be varied.
Delete (CPRG) user-specific digestion programs
User-specific digestion programs are deleted using the CPRG menu.
Press key 3 under CPRG in the main menu.
Select the digestion program to be deleted
Press key 2 under the arrow symbol in the main menu to show
additional menu items.
Press the keys under the relevant digestion term to select the digestion
program to be deleted.
Press key 3 under OK to confirm the selection.
Press key 3 under OK to delete the selected digestion program. The
message will appear on the display

Press key 1 under OK to delete the digestion program.
Press key 4 under Esc to abort the deletion operation.
The display then automatically returns to the main menu.
Note: The standard programs 100, HT and COD cannot be deleted.
Power off the instrument
Press the toggle switch on the back of the instrument.
