3. Another very important notice – since your night vision
device amplifies available light hundreds of times – please
be sure not to turn the unit on during daylight or in a well-
lit room – the image will be way too bright for your
comfortable viewing and it also may permanently burn the
tube inside the unit and will surely void your warranty.
Please note that for the safety of this device it has lens
cover with special filter – to test the unit during daytime
when you bring your newly bought unit home, or in the
shop before you buy it. Please keep these lens covers on
during daytime – even if the unit is turned off.

RIFLESCOPE SPECIFICS:

1. This device can be adapted to the various hunting rifles

for use at night (where allowed by law) or during the
hours of dusk and dawn where natural light is too low to
clearly see the target with the daylight scope. Please
take time to learn your state and local laws concerning
hunting laws and regulations. You may get information
by accessing this site:

http://www.huntinfo.org/

or by

contacting your local authorities. Luna Optics cannot be
held responsible for misuse or violation of any state or
local laws concerning using night vision riflescopes.

2. One of the advantages of our riflescope is its ability to

withstand the heavy recoil of most typical “large game”
hunting calibers. There are, however, limitations to the
cartridge calibers that may be used with this scope due
to the inherited limitations of Generation-1 tube
technology. We recommend the maximum caliber to be
.300 Weatherby magnum (7.62x70mm) or similar
calibers with the maximum bullet initial power of 6,000
joules or less.
