you in especially dark conditions, where there is not enough light for
the tube to amplify.

To turn the Infrared illuminator ON, turn the IR switch (6) to the IR
position. To increase the intensity of the IR light, keep turning the
switch clockwise. To turn the infrared light off, turn the switch back
all the way to OFF position.

When using the infrared illuminator it is important to remember that
it is brightest when used in short distances. As the distance
increases, the intensity of the infrared light fades away. You may
purchase an extended range illuminator (LN-EIR-2) by asking your
dealer, or e-mailing us at:

ADJUSTING THE RETICLE:

Your night vision unit is equipper with a sighting mark called
RETICLE, which can be seen in the field of view. To turn the Reticle
ON, rotate the Power/Reticle Illumination Switch (3) to R position
and keep rotating the switch until you see the reticle in the field of
view and it is comfortable to see (i.e. not too dark or not too bright).
The illumination of the reticle can be adjusted by rotating the Reticle
Switch (3) in either direction. Please be aware that when turning on
the Infrared Illuminator, the brightness of the reticle may need to be
increased.

The reticle is also equipped with
windage (horizontal) and elevation
(vertical) adjustments (10) (see
image on the right). Horizontal
adjustment scale is located on the
side of the scope and the vertical
adjustment scale is on the top of
the scope. To adjust the scale
wheels, remove their covers by
turning them counterclockwise and rotate the scale to the needed
position, looking into the eyepiece.
