ZEROING THE SCOPE

:

Set the weapon with the scope on it on a solid base, or bipod.
Remove the horizontal and vertical adjustments covers. Flip up the
Lens Cover (9) (ONLY IN THE DARK!) and then turn the scope to ON
position
Set the reticle illumination to the comfortable level by rotating the
Reticle Switch (3). View the position of the reticle through the
rubber eyecup. If the reticle appears not in the center of the image,
move it to the center by adjusting (rotating) the scales of horizontal
and/or vertical adjustments (10). Once the reticle is in the center of
view, align the weapon with the target, so that the target is in the
middle of the cross section of the reticle. Make the control (zero)
shot. Observe the bullet impact on the target and, if necessary,
make corrections via horizontal and vertical adjustment scales. If
necessary, repeat the shots until you can see the correlation
between adjusting the scales and the bullet impact. Once finished,
replace the scale covers and close the lens cover. Do not forget to
switch the unit to the OFF position. IMPORTANT: It is possible to
zero the scope during daylight (as long as it is not a bright sunny
day) by keeping the Objective Lens Cover (9) on and sighting the
scope using the built-in daylight filter in the lens cover.
