Description
Sets all the parameters for a particular RED Pack.
Syntax
set random-detect <redID> <minTH-value> <maxTH-
value> <prob-value> <wq-value>

This example sets all the parameters for RED Pack 3.
ATM-6(configure)# set random-detect 3 thmin-
thmax-prob-wq 24 255 -7 -8
RED Pack 3 parameters set successfully
Name Definition
redID The value identifying the particular RED Pack.
minTH-value The minimum threshold value for the RED
Pack. Values range from 1 through 254.
maxTH-value The maximum threshold value for the RED
Pack. Values range from 2 through 255.
prob-value The probability factor value for the RED Pac.
Values range from -15 to -4.
wq-value The queue weight for the particular RED Pack.
Values range from -10 through -7. -10
responds less quickly to instantaneous changes
in traffic flow. -7 responds more quickly to
changes in traffic flow.
