Installation

The RK400 mounts easily in any standard 19” rack cabinet and is only 10” (254mm) deep. Any modular card can be
installed in any slot. Empty slots can be filled up with blank front covers. The part number for the blank front covers
is BP40 and can be ordered separately from your distributor or Nitek.

REVERSIBLE MOUNTING EARS
To reverse the ears, simply remove the 4 mounting screws per ear. Move ears to other side of cabinet. Reinstall
mounting ears.

Introduction

The RK400 is a card cage for Nitek modular twisted pair video cards. It provides easy rack mounting and power to
any Nitek modular card. It requires 120 VAC power and is only 3 rack units high. The card cage can hold up to ten
modular cards.

Caution: To reduce the risk of electric shock do
not remove cover. No user-serviceable parts
inside. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.
