Instructions:

1.

Ensur

e the stop collar on the step drill bit is positioned at

the corr

ect height on the step drill to pr

event drilling into the

jig base (see

Figure 1

). Use the included he

x wr

enc

h to

loosen/tighten the stop collar

.

2.

Center the w

o

rk piece to be drilled in the jig and clamp

tight using the thumb scr

ew (see

Figure 2

).

3.

Drill the poc

k

e

t hole(s) until the stop collar hits the base

.

For cleaner cut holes and easier drilling

,

do not drill the entir

e

depth with one strok

e. Instead,

use short strok

es until the

drill has r

eac

hed its final depth (see

Figure 3

). When

finished,

unclamp the w

o

rk piece and r

e

mo
ve from the jig

.

. Clamp the tw

rk pieces together in the desir

configur

ation. Drive scr

ews (1-1/4" squar

t holes to complete the joint
