• Wash the probes with mild soap and water. Dry with a clean tissue.
• Wait 3 to 5 seconds to reduce static electricity.

CHLORINE CALIBRATION – ADJUSTMENT:

• Before using the tester for the first time, you must adjust (calibrate) it to match your swimming pool or spa water.
• Test your pool or spa water using a conventional liquid test kit or paper test strip.
• Record the chlorine reading level (example 1.5ppm)
• No adjustment is required for PH.

INSERTING BATTERY:

Insert 1 “AA” battery into the battery compartment in handle. Keep the positive side up.

OPERATION:

• Hold the tester in one hand and the probe in the other.
• Insert the cleaned metal probes into the water up to the black band.

Slowly turn the wheel back to the right until the needle matches the chlorine level you have recorded with the

conventional liquid or paper tester (example 1.5ppm).

• Remove the probe from the water without touching the wheel on the face of the tester. The indicator will move

all the way to the right and stop on a letter between A and E. This is your adjustment point.

to the “Adjustment Point” before testing.
