- Output Driver Select Jumpers -
The JP-2 Jumper can be used to plug in an amplifier card for larger output drive capacity, or two
jumpers if the load impedance is greater than 1000 ohms. The pin out is as follows:

Insert the two jumpers as shown if a higher load impedance is used.

- Aux. Port Usage -
The AUX PORT is used to select a specific spiel on a single Digital Audio Repeater. If all you are doing
is attaching a short wire with switches on the inputs, you can attach them directly to J6 as shown. Note
that a small signal diode (like a 1N914 or 1N4148) is required in series with each switch. These pins on J6
are linked directly to the microprocessor and internal circuitry of the Digital Audio Repeater. Do not
attach them in any other way than shown or you may damage the Repeater:

If the wire run is longer than a few inches, you will need to use an OP-100 AUX PORT OPTO-ISOLATOR.
This is a small printed circuit board which plugs into the J6 pins on the repeater. The input to the isolator
card is a standard 1/4 J-6 connection from any of our animation systems. If you are using a source other
than our animation systems, the connections are as follows:

The input to the isolator card is simply eight opto-isolators. Each input is equivalent to turning on a
LED with a 2.2 Kohm in series.
