PRECAUTIONS ON INSTALLATION WIRING
n Mounting
AT-406 set is designed for indoor use only. Do not install outdoors.
It must be used in wall-mounted applications only.
n Wiring
AT-406 can be wired with 2 non-polarized wires. When add-on sub(s)
installed, connect in loop or home run. Keep audio wires

away from any AC wiring, fluorescent lights, dimmer switches, etc.
n External signalling device
Any particular station can be signalled by bell or light, while it rings.

= Loading batteries
Slide down front battery cover. Place four SUM-3 (AA)
batteries into compartment. Observe polarity.
n Battery LED indicator
1 . LED is brightly lit.
Batteries are powerful enough.
ii!, 2. Becomes dim during use.
Batteries are getting weaker.
3. LED is no longer lit.
Batteries are exhausted. Replace all
four batteries with new ones.
