Use the Remote Access option to enable or disable access to the remote functionalities
of the system.
 Disabled D EFAULT
Remote access is disabled.

Enabled
Remote access configuration options shown below

 Serial Port Number
 Serial Port Mode
 Redirection after BIOS POST
 Terminal Type
These configuration options are discussed below.
 Serial Port Number [COM1]
Use the Serial Port Number option to select the serial port used for remote access.
 COM1 D EFAULT
System is remotely accessed through COM1
 COM2 System is remotely accessed through COM2

COM3
System is remotely accessed through COM3
NOTE : Make sure the selected COM port is enabled through the Super I/O configuration
menu.
 Base Address, IRQ [3F8h,4]
The Base Address, IRQ option cannot be configured and only shows the interrupt
address of the serial port listed above.
