4.1 Introduction
The IEI AUPS Battery Status Monitor application detects the information of the smart
battery and monitors the battery status.
4.2 Monitoring DC Power and Smart Battery
4.2.1 Driver Installation
Follow the steps below to install the necessary drivers.
Step 1:
Insert the driver CD into the system. Open the x:\Driver directory. Double click
the CP210x_VCP_Win_XP_S2K3_Vista_7 icon.
The InstallShield Wizard prepares the setup as shown (Figure 4-1).
