STEP 8: INSTALL SIDE RAILS & CORNER BRACKETS

Note: fasten bolts to finger-tightness until the side braces, brackets and side-rails are

all in place—this will allow you to make alignment adjustments if needed. Once all
parts are aligned and secured, tighten all bolts.

INSTALL REAR CORNER BRACKETS & SIDE RAILS

a. Attach the rear corner brackets (4) to the frame using 1” bolts (L), small

washers (K) and small lock-washers (J).

b. Slide the side-rail (3) opening over the knob on the back of the bracket. Lay

side-rails alongside trailer so the bolt-tab on the side-rail lays snug with the
outside of the bolt-tab on top of the fender. Fasten side-rails to the fenders

using 1” bolt. Do not fully tighten yet.

c. Ensure that the side-rail pin-slots are positioned in-between the pin-slots on

the trailer frame, and then insert the side-rail pins (F). Secure the pins with a
cotter-pin (M), and secure cotter-pins by bending at least one leg to 90

degrees.

ASSEMBLE FRONT CORNER BRACKETS (with ramp mounts)

a. Thread a large nut (H) onto the ramp-pin bolt (G). Tighten the nut to the end

of the thread where it borders the smooth surface of the pin-bolt.

b. Slide a large lock-washer (I) onto the threads.

c. Twist the ramp-pin into the front corner bracket (5) until the lock-washer is

flush with the bracket; the ramp-pin will extend approximately 1/8” through
the nut welded onto the backside of bracket. You will need to use a wrench to

fasten the ramp-pin to the bracket.
