6.8 Oil Cooler Removal and Cleaning

Clean oil cooler weekly. Clean more often in dry
conditions. To remove oil cooler for a thorough cleaning
STOP ENGINE”, lift thigh pad for access. Loosen knob
(1) as far as necessary to slide the cooler back about 3/8-
1/2” until clears locking tabs and then lift up and out.
(The cooler knob does not need to be removed) Watch
cooler hoses so they do not snap pump fans. The debris
screen should be removed before blowing cooler out from
the bottom. When reinstalling the cooler, make sure the
cooler hoses do not interfere with the fans and ensure the
cooler housing is secure under the four tab points of the
cooler bracket. Tighten knob securely.





6.9 Hydraulic Oil Tank Check/Fill

Checking Oil Level

1. Ensure mower is on a level surface.
2. Remove hex socket plug from oil level port located under the

upright pad.

3. Hydro oil should be at the bottom of the threads.

Filling Oil Level

1. Remove hex socket plug
2. Using a funnel, fill tank through oil level port until oil reaches

bottom threads of port.



6.11 Battery Service

The battery is 12 volts and is a maintenance free battery. Charge the
battery only if it will not start the mower effectively. Remove the battery
from the mower before charging. Follow the instructions of the battery
charger for proper and safe charging of the battery. Always make sure
the Positive terminal is connected to the Positive battery post and the
Negative terminal is connected to the Negative battery post. Reversal
could cause damage to the electrical system.
1. Remove Terminal cover to access.
2. Keep the battery and terminals Clean.
3. Keep battery bolts tight.
