Air filter removal and replacement

To avoid having captured particulates drawn into the chassis, remove the filter in a fashion that
maintains the orientation of the filter relative to the system until the filter is 12 inches away
from the intake.
Replacing a front air filter
Complete the following steps to mount the new front air filter on the air intake.
1. Orient the new filter over the five mounting holes using the screws as guides.
The mounting is asymmetric, so the holes match up only one way.
2. Using the #2 Phillips screwdriver, initiate the threads, two turns per screw, until all five are
started.
3. Tighten all five screws, one at a time.
Do not overtighten the screws as this will compromise the frame, admitting unfiltered air.
