DESCRIPTION
This connector kit is provided to allow easy removal of
the Humidity Sensor during wash-down or between
grow-outs. The kit includes the male connector, female
connector, and the male cap w/lanyard.
When the kit is received, check for shipping damage or
missing parts.
Wire Connections / Assembly
The male-pinned portion of the quick-connect should be
connected to the Humidity Sensor and the female
socketed end connected to the wiring toward the
controller.
(1) Unscrew the locking screw counter-clockwise
from the Male Connector housing by using a
small flat-head screwdriver. Refer to Figure 1.
(2) Remove the male-pinned insert from the
connector housing.
(3) Loosen the gland nut enough to allow the
Humidity Sensor cable to be inserted thru the
housing assembly as shown in Figure 1.
(4) Strip the humidity sensor outer jacket and three
wires as shown in Figure 3.
(5) Connect the humidity sensor cable/wires to the
male-pinned insert as shown in Figure 3.
(6) Reassemble the connector assembly as shown in
Figures 1 and 3.
(7) Reinstall the Locking Screw
(8) Tighten the Gland Nut securely around the cable.
WARNING!
Ensure that the Electrical Power Sources
are OFF during wiring / installation.
