NOTICE:
The Pin 1 Ground and Pin 2 Signal terminals
(Refer to Figure 3) are reversed on the Female
and Male Inserts. Ensure wires are correctly
connected when the female and male
connectors are connected.
(9) Disconnect all electrical power from the
Evolution 3000/3001 controller.
(10) Unscrew the locking screw counter-clockwise
from the Female Connector housing by using a
small flat-head screwdriver. Refer to Figure 2.
(11) Remove the female insert from the connector
housing.
(12) Loosen the gland nut enough to allow the
customer supplied cable from the Evolution
3000/3001 to be inserted thru the connector
housing assembly as shown in Figure 2.
(13) Strip the cable outer jacket and three wires as
shown in Figure 3.
(14) Connect the cable/wires to the female socket
insert as shown in Figure 3.
(15) Reassemble the assembly as shown in Figures 1
and 3.
(16) Reinstall the Locking Screw
(17) Tighten the Gland Nut securely around the cable.
(18) Ensure the gland nut is tightened securely on both
the socket assembly and plug assembly.
