Storing the weight value (HOLD)
You can also continue displaying the weight determined once the load has been removed.
This makes it possible to put the baby down safely again before noting the weight.
– Press the
HOLD key whilst the load is
on the scale. The HOLD indicator flash-
es.
The value is stored in the display until
the scale switches off automatically af-
ter 10 minutes.
– The HOLD function can be switched off
by pressing the HOLD key again.
0.00 appears in the display with no load
on the scale or the current weight. The
“HOLD“ display disappears.
Movements are damped by a special
damping system. However, if the baby
should move about on the scale too much,
the HOLD function is not activated and the
value displayed flashes. This prevents inac-
curate measurements.
7. Cleaning
Clean the tray and the housing as required with a domestic cleaning agent or commercially-
available disinfectant. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Transport
Before transporting the baby scale any distance, you should attach the transport securing
device. This protects the highly-accurate electronics.
Proceed as follows:
– Turn the scale over so that the base-
plate is on top.
– Attach the transport securing device
and push the spacers between the
frame and the tray support.
– Tighten up the screws on the base of
the scale.
Warning! Only tighten up the screws
by hand, do not use a tool!
– Then turn the scale back up the right
way.
