Once this step is complete, highlight the “Start Box” using the Selector Knob
and use the Enter Key or Toggle to select Start. Continue to Step 2.

Step 2: The screen now displays the number of meter revolutions counted with
“Continue” highlighted. Turn the meter a number of revolutions while catching the
metered material in the catch bin. Stop turning the meter. The number of
revolutions is displayed. Press Continue to save the information collected during
the calibration procedure.

NOTE: Ensure diverter valve is set to the
lower air stream during calibration and
reset to proper air stream prior to seeding.


NOTE: There is no set number of cranks
required. For smaller seeds use a larger
sample.


Step 3: The screen now displays the number of revolutions counted during the
calibration. “Weight 10.00lb/ac” is highlighted. Press the Toggle Button or
Enter Key to enter the actual measured value of the material weight in the catch
bin. Press the Enter Key to accept the value.

NOTE: As this value is entered other values on the screen will change as
the monitor calculates the correct gearbox setting to achieve the desired
application rate for the implement width and material density entered.









Step 4: Close to the bottom of this window display is “Set Gearbox to” and then
the number. Set the gearbox to that setting using the increase/decrease switch
on the side mounted control box.

Step 5: Highlight the OK Option using the Selector Knob. Press the Enter Key or
Toggle Button to finish the calibration of this meter.

Step 6: Repeat steps 1-5 for each additional meter.
