6. The screen now displays the number of
revolutions counted during the calibration.
“Weight 10.00lb/ac” is highlighted. Press
SELECT to highlight 10.00lb/ac. Using the
up & down arrow keys enter the net weight
of material (total less weight of catch bin)
that you measured using scale provided.
Note: As this value is entered other
values on the screen will change as the
monitor calculates the correct gearbox
setting to achieve the desired
application rate for the implement width
and material density entered.
7. Set the gearbox to that setting
using the increase/decrease switch
in the side mounted control box.
8. Press the SELECT button to save the
weight value entered and the highlight bar
will jump to the “Exit and Save” bar. Press
SELECT again to save the calibration
information.
9. Repeat steps 1-8 for each additional
meter.
Once all meters have been successfully
calibrated press the up/down arrow keys on
the meter calibration screen to highlight “Exit
and Save”. Press the SELECT
button to save the meter calibrations
and return to the settings screen.
NOTE: It is recommended that the monitor be powered off and on to ensure
that all updated information is saved in the non volatile memory.
NOTE: There is a line on this screen that reads “Cal Rate”. This is the
application rate that will be applied if the gearbox setting is left at the 100
setting and this value will be reported back by the monitor while planting if
the gearbox setting is not reset to the value displayed as the proper setting.
