18. MAINTENANCE
Properly used, the thermometer should
maintain calibration indefinitely and not
require service other than occasional
cleaning of the housing and changing of the
batteries. Do not clean with abrasives or
solvents. Use mild detergents; never
immerse nor use excessive fluid.
