Focusing Using Live Mode

Select [Live mode] or [FlexiZone – Single] from the
list box.

The AF point appears.

On

, you can set continuous AF to on/off with the

[Continuous AF] box. When shooting movies, the [Continuous
AF] box changes to the [Movie servo AF] on/off box.

You can switch between showing and hiding the AF point by
clicking the [

] button.

Drag the enlargement display frame to move it to the
position where you want to focus.

Click the [ON] button.

AF is executed.

When focus is achieved, the camera makes a beeping sound
and the AF point turns green.

If focus is not achieved, the AF point turns red.
