Shoot with minimal camera shake and subject blur. In scenes where subject
movement is minimal, continuously shot images can be combined to reduce
camera shake and noise.
Enter mode.
z Follow step 1 on p. 68 to choose .
Shoot.
z is displayed on the left side of the screen
in scenes without people.
z When is displayed, press the shutter
button all the way down. Images will shoot
continuously, and then be combined.
z When the icon is not displayed, press the
shutter button all the way down to shoot a
single image.

• Because the camera will shoot continuously when is displayed,
hold it steady while shooting.
• In some scenes, images may not look as expected.
• When is displayed, the flash will not fire even in low-light
conditions.
• Even in scenes containing people, continuous images will be shot
when the flash is set to
!.
• When using a tripod, shoot in A mode (p. 47).
