Create Text Messages
Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send
and receive short text messages to and from other
mobile phones.
The Message icon displays on the notification
bar when you have received a new text message.
When the memory is full, you will be notified by
your phone. You must free up memory by deleting
messages before you can receive additional
messages.
Creating a Simple Text Message
From Idle mode, press 1 Menu g Messaging g
Create Message.
Enter your message text.

see “Changing the Text Input Mode” on page 78.
You can enter up to 160 characters per page in
your message. The message can be up to 12
pages long for a total of 1836 characters.
Press the 3 Options soft key when you finish
entering your message. The following options are
available:
Insert • : allows you to insert a Symbol, Picture,
Audio, Video, Template, and more.
