This telephone has four Speed Dial locations where you can store phone
numbers and names you wish to dial by pressing only two buttons. Names
can be up to 16 characters long and numbers can be up to 32 digits long.

Storing a Name and a Number in a
Speed Dial Location

Press

D. The screen displays DIRECTORY.

Press

S. The screen displays:

Use the dial pad keys to enter the letters, digits or symbols you
wish to store. Refer to

Step 3 “Storing Names and Numbers in

the Directory” in DIRECTORY OPERATION on page 34 for
detailed directions.

NOTE: To store a number without storing a name, press

S and go on

to

Step 5.

Press

S to store the name and move on to enter the phone

number. The screen displays:

Use the dial pad keys to enter the phone number you wish to store

— OR —

Press

a to copy the last number you dialed onto the

screen. (To edit a number stored from redial you must first finish
storing the number, then follow the directions under “Editing
Information Stored in a Speed Dial Location.”)

NOTE: Do not press

S at this point or the entry will be saved in the

directory instead of a speed dial location.
